Άγνωστες ιστορίες: “Mr. Eurovision Song Contest Man”, μια παρωδία των στίχων της Γιουροβίζιον
Ένα τραγούδι “κομμένο και ραμμένο” για τον διαγωνισμό!
Πολλά χρόνια πριν από το Love, love, peace, peace, με το οποίο οι παρουσιαστές του διαγωνισμού το 2016, Petra Mede & Måns Zelmerlöw μας δίδαξαν, με χιουμοριστικό τρόπο πως να γράψουμε ένα νικητήριο τραγούδι, το μακρινό 1982 κάτι αντίστοιχο έκανε ο Βρετανός κωμικός Neil Innes (1944-2019), συνεργάτης για χρόνια των Monty Pythons, στο πλαίσιο της τηλεοπτικής του εκπομπής “Innes Book of Records”. Το τραγούδι με τίτλο Mr. Eurovision Song Contest Man, το οποίο περιλαμβάνει διάφορα στιχουργικά κλισέ (μάλιστα σε μερικά αποδεικνύεται προφήτης, αφού τα είδαμε πιο μετά, από το “Mister Music Man”-SWI 92 μέχρι το “Yodel it”-ROM 17), είχε τόσο μεγάλη απήχηση, ώστε κυκλοφόρησε την ίδια χρονιά σε single. Κυρίως σατιρίζει το ακατάληπτο Boom bang a bang, με το οποίο νίκησε το Ηνωμένο Βασίλειο το 1969.
