Italy: Amadeus confirmed for Sanremo until 2024
Amadeus will be the host and artistic director of Sanremo during the editions 2023 and 2024. The decisition was taken after a meeting, this morning, between Carlo Fuortes (CEO of RAI), Stefano Coletta (Director of Primer Time in RAI) and Amadeus himself.
I am happy and honored by the proposal of CEO Carlo Fuortes and Prime Time Director Stefano Coletta. Having received this proposal now allows me to work immediately. I can’t wait to get started!

With the designation are five editions in a row of the Italian contest hosted by Amadeus. He becomes the third person with more editions in the role, after Guiseppe “Pippo” Baudo (13) and Mike Bongiorno (11).
