The second semi-final of the Songvakeppnin 2022 was held tonight. Two more finalists has been chosen among five semi-finalists by the public.

- SUNCITY & SANNA – “Hækkum í botn”
- Reykjavíkurdætur – “Tökum af stað” (finalist)
- Katla – “Þaðan af” (finalist)
- Hanna Mia y La Astrotourists – “Séns með þér”
After the second semi-final the jury chose among the semi-finalists not qualified other finalist. The winner was Amarosis with “Don’t You Know”.
Following the rules of the contest the song must be performed in Icelandic during the semi-finals, but in the final the song will be performed in the language in which will compete in Eurovision in case of victory
