Portugal: Festival da Cançao 2022 selects the last finalists

Portuguese broadcaster, RTP, has aired tonight the second semi-final of Festival da Cançao 2022. In the show the last five finalists of the national selection for Eurovision 2022 have been chosen.

Participants of the second semi-final:

1. Os Azeitonas  –  “Solta a Voz e Canta”
2. Cubita  –  “Uma Mensagem Tua”
3. Inês Homem de Melo  –  “Fome de Viagem” (finalist)
4. Syro  –  “Ainda nos Temos” (finalist)
5. Pepperoni Passion  –  “Código 30” (finalist)
6. Milhanas  –  “Corpo de Mulher” (finalist)
7. O Vampiro Submarino  –  “Ao Lado de Mim”
8. Jonas  –  “Ponas Soltas”
9. Blacci  –  “Mar No Fim”
10. Pongo & Tristany  –  “DÉGRÁ.DÊ” (finalist)

Before to announce the qualifiers Chanel, winner of the Benidorm Fest and Spanish representative at the Eurovision Song Contest 2022, has performed the song with which represent that country in the contest, ”SloMo”. After the performance she sang in Portuguese language ”Happy birthday” to congratulate RTP on its 65th anniversary .
