The ANSA news agency has announced that the host broadcaster, RAI, will air the Eurovision Song Contest in 4K resolution (UHD). The shows (Semi-finals on 10th and 12th May, Grand Final on 14th May) will be avaiable on the RAI4K, the channel created in 2016 by the Italian broadcaster with this format.

The standard full HD format will be broadcasted on RAI 1, commented by Carolina Di Domenico, Gabriele Corsi and Cristiano Malgioglio, and RAIPlay.

Other broadcasters, as the Polish TVP , the Dutch NPO or the British BBC, have channels on that resolution and could air the shows using the RAI signal.
