Slovenia: LPS will travel to Eurovision 2022 with its “Disko” music
Slovenian broadcaster, RTVSlo, has held the last saturday the final of the EMA 2022 where was chosen the representative of this country in Turin. LPS has been the winner with the song “Disko”.
LPS was previously selected in the new talent contest, EMA Freš, with other three finalists. Created in December 2018, the band has five members: Filip Vidušin, Gašper Hlupič, Mark Semeja, Zala Velenšek and Žiga Žvižej.
The election of the winner was done with the combined votes of a jury and the public to the 50%. The jury was composed of members from the Slovenian oficial club of Eurovision (OGAE Slovenia), songwriters, radio and television personalities, music performers and international artists. The show was hosted by the TV host Melani Mekičar and the singer Bojan Cvjetićanin from the Gospodarsko Razstavišče Exhibition and Convention Centre of Ljubljana.
