Latvia: The drummer of Citi Zēni covers “Give That Wolf A Banana”
The song “Give That Wolf A Banana” will be performed by Subwoolfer at the Eurovision Song Contest 2022 as the Norwegian act after the victory in the Melodi Grand Prix 2022. The band, characterized by their wolf masks and whose identity is unknown, has created great expectation within the Eurovision Song Contest, helped by a song with a catchy rhythm.
Now Toms Kagainis, drunmer of Citi Zēni, the band that will represent Latvia in the same contest, has released un video where he plays a drum version of that song. He is acompained of the Latvian drummer, Dairis Petrauskis.
Citi Zēni with “Eat Your Salad” won the last edition of the national selection, Supernova, and the place to represent Latvia at the Eurovision Song Contest 2022. The band was formed in March 2020 at a songwriting camp in Riga. Jānis Pētersons (vocals), Dagnis Roziņš (vocals and saxophone), Reinis Višķeris (keyboards), Krišjānis Ozols (guitar), Roberts Memmēns (bass) and Toms Kagainis (drums) are the current members.
