Italy: 9th place in the final of Eurovision 2022 for the host country
Italy will compete in the 9th place of the Grand Final of Eurovision 2022. The place has been chosen by Martin Österdahl, Executive Supervisor of the Eurovision Song Contest, in a draw held during the Head of Delegation meeting in Turin (Italy).

Therefore Mahmood & Blanco, winners of Sanremo 2022, will perform “Brividi” in that position, on 14th May. Mahmood will compete for the second time in the contest after his successful participation in 2019 with “Soldi”, where he was second in the final.
