Azerbaijan: Listen to Nadir Rustamli’s song “Fade to Black”
Nadir Rustamli will perform the song “Fade to Black” at the Eurovision Song Contest 2022 as the representative of Azerbaijan. “Fade to Black”, with its official music video, has been released today and it completes the list of songs that will compete in Turin.
“Fade to Black” has been created by Thomas Stengaard, Sebastian Schub, Andreas Stone and Anderz Wrethow. Andreas Stone is known as part of the songwriters that created the Swedish entry in Eurovision 2019, “Too Late for Love”. Thomas Stengaard has also experience in Eurovision as member of the songwriting teams of “El Diablo” (Cyprus 2021) and “Adrenalina” (San Marino 2021).
The singer, chosen internally by Ictimai TV, is known in his country after winning the second season of “Səs Azərbaycan” (“The Voice of Azerbaijan”), which ended on 28th January. The announcement was made during the morning show of Ictimai TV last month.
Nadir Rustamli will perform at the Eurovision Song Contest 2022, as the Azeri act, in the first half of the second Semi-final, on 12th May.
