U.S.A. broadcaster, NBC, has announced who will be the hosts of the first edition of the national franchise of the Eurovision Song Contest: Kelly Clarkson and Snoop Dogg
Kelly got the fame after her victory in the first edition of the American Idol and her debut album, “Thankful”. Having eight studio albums released , she have sold more than 27 millions of copies of her albums and singles, with more of them reaching the top places in the music charts . Her career is completed with three Grammy Awards, being the first artist to win the “Best Pop Vocal Album” category twice. Apart this she wrote two successful children’s book and is recurring coach in the U.S.A. edition of “The Voice”.
Recently she did a cover of “Arcade”, the winner song of Duncan Laurence in the Eurovision Song Contest 2019

Nominated 17 times to the Grammy Awards, his discography comprises 19 studio albums, five collaborative albums, 17 compilation albums, three extended plays, 25 mixtapes, 175 singles (including 112 as a featured artist), and 16 promotional singles. Apart this he was actor in several films and TV series and has realized charity campaigns as the creation of the “Snoop Youth Football League” in 2005.

The first edition of the “American Song Contest” will have three stages: Qualifiying, semi-finals and final. The first show will be held on 21th March and the Grand Final on 9th May. Solo artists, duos or band, from the 50 states, the capital and U.S. territories, will compete for the title of the “Best Original song” in the United States.
