Austria: Listen to a snippet of the Austrian entry for Eurovision 2022
The music online shop, Beatport, has launched in pre-order, “Halo”, the song that will represent Austria at the Eurovision Song Contest 2022. As part of the pre-order a snippet of a minute and 20 seconds is avaiable. The snippet is avaiable here.
For now the Austrian national broadcaster, ORF, has not confirmed yet the date when the song will be released, but according Beatport that date will be on 11th March.
“Halo” will be performed in Turin by Dj Lum!x and Pia Maria, chosen in a internal selection of ORF among several options. Dj Lum!x is well-know thanks to songs as the hit “Monster”. Being one of the most succesful download artists with more than one billion streams has got several gold and platinum records. Pia Maria is a young singer and composer from the Tyrol.
Austria will compete at the Eurovision Song Contest 2022 in the second half of the first semi-final on 10th May.
