Serbia: Goca Tržan will not compete in Pesma za Evroviziju ’22”

Goca Tržan, with “Fitilj”, was one of the semi-finalists of the Serbian selection Pesma za Evroviziju’ ‘22. But now, as national broadcaster, RTS, has confirmed she will not compete for health reasons.

The change has been possible because the rules of the contest says that it’s possible to song authors and the organizers change the performers and/or the songs if it happens something that requires it. In fact previously Tijana Dapčević (North Macedonia 2014) replaced to Stefan Zdravković after his withdrawal of the selection.

Her place in the Second Semi-Final, on 4th March, will be replaced by CHEGI and Braća Bluz, also known by CHEGI Band, suplent in the list of RTS. CHEGI, that frequently works as a “wedding band” will perform the song “Devojko sa plamenom u očima”

So the lineup of the Second Semi-Final is as follows:

In each semi-final of Pesma za Evroviziju ‘22 will compete 18 song.A jury and the public, to the 50%, will choose the 9 songs that will advance to the final, on 5th March.
